Google Data Studio
Google's free BI tool (now Looker Studio) for reports and dashboards.
What is it
Google Data Studio is Google's free tool for building reports and dashboards; today it is called Looker Studio. It connects to Google sources (GA4, Google Ads, Sheets, BigQuery) and third-party databases, lets you assemble visualizations by drag-and-drop, and share reports via a link. It is popular in marketing analytics thanks to being free and its integration with Google services.
Where and why it is used
I use Looker Studio (Data Studio) for marketing dashboards and end-to-end analytics on Google data: ads, GA4, spend, and conversions in a single report. It is convenient when you need to show the numbers to a client quickly and for free, and the data already lives in the Google ecosystem.
