What is it
Apache Superset is an enterprise-grade open-source BI platform for data exploration and dashboard building. It supports dozens of visualization types, a SQL editor (SQL Lab), a semantic layer, and flexible access control. It connects to most SQL databases and works especially well with ClickHouse and other fast engines.
Where and why it is used
I use Superset when you need a flexible self-hosted BI with no license fees and full control: complex dashboards, granular access control, analytics on top of ClickHouse. It suits product teams and warehouses where customization and scale matter.
